DIRECTIONS:
1. FOR THE BEST RESULTS: STAY-SEALED RECOMMENDS THAT THE FUEL CAP AND SEAL BE
INSPECTED FOR DAMAGE OR DRY ROTTED SEAL OR IMPROPER FIT. IF ANY OF THESE
CONDITIONS EXIST REPLACE THE NECESSARY PARTS, BEFORE INSTALLING THE
STAY-SEALED COVER.

2. CHECK TO BE SURE THE FUEL CAP IS PROPERLY INSTALLED AND TIGHT.

3. DURING THE INSPECTION PROCESS, THE
STAY-SEALED COVER IS CLEANED AND DRIED.
APPLY A SMALL AMOUNT OF LUBRICANT PROVIDED TO THE AREA SHOWN IN YELLOW. (SEE
PHOTO) WIPE OFF EXCESS LUBRICANT, ONLY A THIN FILM IS NEEDED.
(YOUR COVER WILL NOT HAVE THE YELLOW RING)

4. ALIGN THE STAY-SEALED COVER WITH THE TAB ON THE FUEL CAP & PRESS DOWN FIRMLY
TO LOCK THE
STAY-SEALED COVER ONTO THE FUEL CAP.

5. LIFT UP ON THE OUTSIDE EDGE OF THE
STAY-SEALED COVER TO REMOVE FROM THE
FUEL CAP.

WITH RAISED METAL FUEL CAP
WARNING:
WHEN INSTALLED, THE STAY-SEALED COVER HAS BEEN PROVEN TO KEEP WATER AND OTHER
CONTAMINATES FROM ENTERING INTO THE FUEL TANKS THRU THE FILLER PORT, ALL FUEL
TANKS
MUST BE CHECKED FOR CONTAMINATES THAT MAY ALREADY EXIST IN THE FUEL TANK
BEFORE ANY FLIGHT.
ALL PREFLIGHT INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDING SUMPING THE
FUEL TANKS MUST BE FOLLOWED IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE
AIRCRAFT MANUFACTURER.

REMOVE STAY-SEALED FUEL CAP COVER BEFORE FLIGHT

1. FOR THE BEST RESULTS: STAY-SEALED RECOMMENDS THAT THE FUEL CAP AND SEAL BE
INSPECTED FOR DAMAGE OR DRY ROTTED SEAL OR IMPROPER FIT. IF ANY OF THESE
CONDITIONS EXIST REPLACE THE NECESSARY PARTS, BEFORE INSTALLING THE
STAY-SEALED COVER.

2. CHECK TO BE SURE THE
FUEL CAP IS PROPERLY INSTALLED AND TIGHT.

3. ALIGN THE
STAY-SEALED COVER OVER THE RECESSED FUEL CAP.

4. TWIST AND PRESS DOWN FIRMLY UNTIL THE
COVER MAKES CONTACT WITH THE WING.

5. TO REMOVE, TWIST AS THE
COVER IS LIFTED UP OUT OF THE RECESS.
